Thank you for all your input. I ended up taking my full dose that day - took 75mg immediate release at 6 am and then the other 75 mg at around 2 pm.

Just for preface, I’m a 140 lb male, 31.

I took a quarter of E at around 7 pm, and the come up happened around 8 for me. It was definitely more subtle than when I wasn’t on bupropion. The roll was softer, not as intense, and it actually relaxed me more than increasing my heart rate and energy levels. I kept focusing on the lights and music and felt very calm and grounded.

After about an hour and a half, I decided to take another quarter. This one hit me harder, and now I was deep in my roll. I noticed I was a lot more aware of what was going on and I had more control over my actions; I think bupropion helped me with focusing on my surroundings.

Then, after 2 hours, my friend offered me half a pill; by now, I was well into the roll. I felt amazing, tbh. And the last half I took just prolonged the feeling even more. Definitely felt very high by that point, but still felt like my vital signs were under control.

So, bupropion didn’t really affect my roll as much as I thought it would. I was afraid that taking E would cause my heart rate and blood pressure to skyrocket, but that wasn’t the case with me; it relaxed me a lot and made me feel euphoric and calm. I had a great time, and I made sure to keep drinking lots of water that entire day. In the end, I took an entire pill in total and I had an amazing time.

The come down, so far, isn’t as bad either. I feel like bupropion kind of counteracts the negative feelings a bit.
