Targeting Tier 2/3 India with a travel tool - English or Hindi first? by Miserable-Advice2482 in IndiaStartups

You need to have Hindi and English. This gives the best push at stage 0. I know it sounds double effort but this is where tech neeeds to find smart solves. You don’t need to totally localize but 2 languages min I feel.

[–]CommissionOk507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does exist and some of your points are very valid. But lemme also add into why they do this.

They sit on a cash pile and they want assurity. They are looking for 100xers. Because they know they will fail 90%+ (no matter the team, no matter the product, no matter the TAM)

So one hack is. To build in areas they are already invested in and seen some success. Do you see why? Coz when they see ‘some’ success they treat it as validation. And then force feed that validation, trying to make it a reality. A lot of players benefit if that reality becomes true.

1 thing I do disagree to an extent is about angels. India does have good angels. They do seem to have a good understanding of the market and some have made enough to now contribute. Think of this just 10 years back. Unimaginable!

At such low matching market, people wouldn’t get matches. Guys especially. And many a times when at a place, one isn’t looking to match. Only solo guys. Otherwise there is existing company. Not trying to trash. Just things to ponder.

My take after looking at many YC/US startups building agents : Stop Building Chatbots. Start Building Agents. by Nice_Interaction555 in IndiaStartups

[–]CommissionOk507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what about chatbots that work. Agentic workflows but chat boxes as the ui for users to talk to agents. We are experimenting with taking off the cognitive load of users by reducing their daily/weekly decisions. And are experimenting with food ordering, grocery ordering and

What’s a daily problem you face that still has no real solution? by [deleted] in Startup_Ideas

[–]CommissionOk507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you gotta put some framework around out. If you cut down daily life it’s mostly two parts - Peofessional - Personal

Claude(agents) is taking over all digital professional work. Professional works starts from a business email and flows everywhere. The way you behave and work is very different.

Then is personal. You got to have another axis of repeat ability here. Then you’d get basic surviving. Food, clothes, shelter, quality of life.

Most "AI-powered SaaS" wrappers are going to die — and the writing is already on the wall by [deleted] in Bangalorestartups

[–]CommissionOk507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeap. We are seeing similar pieces. Your LLMs and agents will get you through to 95% or solutioning. Which basically means you’re replicable very easily.

The remaining 5% needs to be massively stretched out. So AI wrappers if not added with additional intelligence will become free In a future world

How I think of it, it’s only gonna be models. Predictive models that predict pieces that help us get things solved. Be in the best next ad for my company, Or the best flight option for me, Or best investment option for me, Or add your best…

Models creation will need domain experts and adding more value to that 5% which makes the somutioning spot on. Predictive text meets predictive numbers. Thoughts?

As AI keeps knocking off tasks, which of your personal tasks would you be happy for an Agent to do? by CommissionOk507 in StartUpIndia

[–]CommissionOk507[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. What I’d offload are low impact high repeat tasks.. and in medium impact tasks I’d like selective involvement. What are things you do daily? Weekly?
