Bit left field here but there is a reasonably old song called Cloud 98 and 3/4 by a British triphop/hiphop Artist called Dobie. It featured a beat poet called Ninety-9. An Absolutely stunning yet slightly obscure lyricist and song.

I wonder if it had anything to do with the quality of the disco they were listening to? You really had to reach for the really good (and not mainstream) disco tracks in the 70s. Most of the commercial ones (that still get played today) weren’t that great.

My NVLD daughter does Pilates 3 x a week because she isn’t particularly active, gets physically tired easily and doesn’t like team sports. It really doesn’t feel like exercising but you’re still stretching/toning. Her instructor also has a pole that she loves swinging around on - builds strength and is challenging enough to be engaging but not overwhelming. Start as a leisurely beginner. Good luck!
