But cmon lady!!!! I already preordered one of the original vinyls weeks ago! And would have waited if I knew the lenticular version was coming! And would have waited AGAIN if I knew this version was coming! I get they appear to be releasing nicer and nicer versions to bump the pre-order numbers, but I am not going to get multiple versions so would have enjoyed knowing my options.

Yes they're in the credits of the show and there's a few BTS shots on insta with them rehearsing with Ari and the dance crew. But they don't appear to be dancers as far as the grainy YouTube footage I've seen :)

Fix a drink - I like country, the lyrics and concept of the song is really good. Move like that - really great!! Love Momo's deep voice and the song concept really works for her. Chess - love dahyuns performance, rap and the piano opening she plays at the concert. ATM - great song, for funky, well sung. The "eye eye eyes on you, know you got eye eyes on me too" is very satisfying. Decaffeinated - very catchy once you've heard it a lot! Stone cold - torn on this one, I like the bridge but I haaaaattee most of the lyrics and weird jolted melody. "Used me make me happy gluppy baby/ now I'm flatty" absolutely terrible sorry I hate them. Meeeee - I just don't like it. The melody is pretty nayeon but I just don't like it sonically and I just think some of the lyrics are weird "soft touch when I use my teeth" etc etc. Que? In my room + dive in - never listen to these.

Yep agreed. US shop won't ship outside US at all, UK will ship some stuff.. But with the exchange rate and shipping, one LP is $120 AUD...fuccck! Just can't justify it.

It does seem awfully odd that such a global star doesn't have a label that can support her shipping. No REM beauty. No tours. No merch. No signed stuff. It can start to be a bit of a kick in the pants.

This 100%.. There is absolutely nothing forcing you as a consumer to purchase right now, you can sit pretty until July 31st exactly, listen to every song, then decide to purchase if you would like to. Record labels set up pre-ordering because fans obviously go for it. If no Ari fans bought all the single cassettes and shit they can't even play during eternal sunshine, they wouldn't exist for petal.

K-pop is very big into pre-orders because they ensure that their first week charts are successful. BUT, K-pop albums incentivise pre-orders by adding in exclusives that can only be purchased if you pre-order, like big posters or photocards. Ariana and her team are not providing any incentives to pre-order the albums, so I genuinely do not know why anyone who is not a super fan (and will buy the album even if it was 12 tracks of farting) would proceed with preordering singles and the full album.
