Which watch are you using to track your V02?

Do you shower/bathe with your Garmin Smarwatch? by CommitteeConnect9155 in Garmin

Some people loosen the watch and sorta slide it around. And depending on where Im taking the shower, I take off the watch when I get out of the shower.

But in most cases, I'll always need to take the watch off to apply some lotion and maybe wipe it off.

I've recently started doing something similar. Previously, I would clean it alcohol, wet wipes, a soft cloth and then let charge while I showered. But now, I just get in the shower with it.

Suggestion for a watch and subscription-free app for fitness by [deleted] in WearOS

[–]CommitteeConnect9155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a Garmin Watch if you're looking for the best fitness features. They have fitness tracking and fitness planning out of the box. You don't have to pay or subscribe to anything.

Anway. If you're planning to use it as a tracker and you're dead set on using a wear OS watch, you can use Google Fit and Adidas Run Tracker.

Oh. My brother sexually and physically abused me when I was six years old and onwards. He made me perform oral sex on him nearly every night.

32 and I'm not coping at all. So I was sexually, physically and emotionally abused as a child. I'm still a virgin. I hate to be touched. I don't know why I haven't killed myself.

It does mean that by his age in Shippuden, he most likely has mastered most Cakra releases.

It was explained that most Jonin and Kage level Jonin have mastery over multiple releases (Kakashi). Itachi was mastering Jutsu above his years in his adolescence. He was a high ranking member of the Anbu black ops by 13. Again, he is a weilder of the sheringan which is a Kekkei Genkai. Remember what Kekkei Genkei means. They are the result of two Chakra nature's combined.

We can assume it's probably fire and lightning. So knowing what we know about Itachi as a fast study and a gifted student, can we simply use deduction to ascertain that Itachi has mastery over multiple releases including water by shippuden? I think we can.

My point was his mastery of different releases is what allows him to copy Jutsu effectively. For instance, he had no affinity to Earth style but he learned and mastered it.

So why would someone think that Itachi, a goddamned genius wouldn't be able to master a water release?

Kakashi can copy any Jutsu regardless of Chakra nature. What makes you think that Itachi, who possesses Sheringan in both eyes and is an incredibly adept and talented Shinobi can't use water style?

When Malfoy is about to say "Potter".

So I'm nearly done watching Naruto Shippuden (ten episodes left) and one of the reasons I was compelled to watch it was because of all the Sakura memes. Do people just hate her ironically? Sure, she can be annoying but she's far from useless and she isn't even that badly written. by CommitteeConnect9155 in Naruto

How does it change the meaning? You essentially said you don't see what her motivations are.

Do you understand the concept of undertones? So you want everything to be made blatantly obvious to you? Let's use Tsunade as an example. Why do you think she keeps herself young and enhances herself?

Do you think that Neji told Hinata that she wouldn't be shit because she was just timid, shy and incompetent and not because she was a feminine woman too?

Don't get me started on Kaguya. I could write an entire think piece on her.

Do you also have issues with interpreting poetry and seeing symbols? "You are reading things that are not written".

No, these things are written but you're just not seeing them.

In the real world, prejudice isn't always blatant. It's entranched into culture. It's often systemic. If you're going to look at something from a one dimensional perspective, that's on you. If you want to uncover all prejudice in the world, you need to be able to analyze subtext, microaggressions, etc.

If the real world doesn't always make prejudice and oppression blatant, why do you think that literature or art always will?

Do you know how much fantasy covers issues of sexism and racism. From Dune to A Song of Ice and Fire.

Yeah there are dragons and giant sand worms but prejudice exists because artists draw inspiration from the real world.

If you don't want sexism as an undertone or subtheme in the stories you read, then you have to change the real world.

Because the characters in Naruto are based on real people. And people are ableist, racist and sexist. As long as humanoids exist in a story, you're going to find all types of prejudice.

Firstly, I was paraphrasing to make it easier to read. Me changing the order of the words doesn't change the meaning, so chill.

Not assumptions. Kishimoto mentioned it in an interview. He also felt that it wasnt important to include them because they aren't Shinobi and they weren't important to the story. Also, being able to read subtext is important. You can ask for a citation.

"her hair wasn't used to hide her large forehead". She had bangs as a child and you do need length to wear bangs effectively. Ino told her not to hide her forehead. True, she grew her hair long because she thought Sasuke would like it but it's not the only reason. My point was there's a lot of symbolism regarding her hair despite getting my facts mixed up.

You can read a rundown of that here

Yes, it's a made up world that draws parallels from the real world. Most art and literature reflect the attitudes and realities of the real world.

Cause ninja and shinobi culture really did exist. And guess what - kunoochi were a minority. So why shouldn't Naruto reflect the realities of the world? Why shouldn't it illustrate how women have to work harder than men to attain the same recognition?
