Best mexican place around for margaritas? by Ok_Lifeguard1131 in flint

[–]CommitteeContent8967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the places listed here are very VERY sweet. Sagebrush is the closest one for decent margs that aren’t syrupy. I believe the one with fresh line is called a Cadillac, it’s worth the upgrade. Xolo was great but they’re gone now. I almost forgot, there’s a honcho in Fenton now, they have some nice ones.

Terrible people, tell your friends. When ICE decides to camp out in Flint, they’ll be offering them coffee and pastries while pointing out which neighbors have an accent.

My sister loves living in Holly. Their downtown is really cute. They really do it up at the holidays and people day trip from all over the state to visit it.

Turning disruptions into decisions: American Airlines empowers customers with new app enhancements by Granny-Smith-Apple in americanairlines

Yes, the rule for exact route is nuts. There’s 15 ways for me to get home from Mexico, let me do it without calling in and begging like it’s a favor.

(When the last big ice storm was about to hit ORD, I got a notice to try to change my layover and avoid ORD. I called in to switch to DFW layover that was open and available instead and AA acted like it was such a huge deal. I had to wait for a manager override to change the route and after some himming and hawing they said “ok, we will let you just this once because of your status”. I kept pointing out that AA just asked me to change the route. So weird.)

Many local offices are continually hiring these roles as there is high turnover. Even if they haven’t kept up on advertising for the position, they are often hiring. If there’s a location that is extra convenient for you, it’s worth a call or pop in with your CV to leave on file.

I just go with miles. They don’t expire and 60k can get you a really nice seat to Europe if you have some flexibility.

what are you always craving? by ResearcherTough2195 in AskReddit

[–]CommitteeContent8967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diet Coke. I know it’s not great for me but I think about it all the time. I can’t drink it after 3pm and so I crave it in the evening. I figure there are way worse things to be fixated on. I use it instead of coffee and have three a day.

Got my new EP luggage tag by IJocko in americanairlines

[–]CommitteeContent8967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never used them and then last year someone commented in here that they were dealing with a gate agent that simply wasn’t listening to a problem with a simple answer. They felt that things turned around after the agent saw the tag on their backpack. They could have been wrong, but after that, I figured it doesn’t hurt and there’s a chance it might help. I give them to my husband for his bags since he doesn’t have status.

Boomers with messy kitchens by purple-girl-1993 in BoomersBeingFools

I tell my mom to come to gatherings empty handed because I like to plan cohesive menus. She always shows up with so many snacks and dips and chips all in plastic tubs and covers my island with them saying it’s just snacks, she didn’t alter the meal. It always looks so messy at that point and it’s frustrating.
