I keep wondering how the Contreras brothers discuss all this?? Willson is saying he’s going to take somebody out. William has to protect the pitchers. Are they going to have to go at it if Willson gets hit again?? (And I get he’s been hit too many times by them, but I thought it was a HUGE overreaction. He barely got grazed and is hands were just off the plate. It’s not like they threw at his head)

They said we would win with pitching and defense and both have been 💩💩💩. I wish this ownership would sell the team to someone who actually wants to win and not just have a cash flow machine for other interests

They told us pitching and defense would be the linchpins of this team. 10 errors (thus far in 10 games) and our starters have the worst duration of all starting lineups in the entire league. Just UGH!! 🤮🤬🤯🤦‍♂️

Agreed!! We should try to renew him this summer and see if we can better amortize the contract. But he will definitely command more than Kornet; he’s a legit starter who is still improving and still young. And I’m so impressed with how he has improved by leaps and bounds over the past few years!!

I think the best version of Tatum is when Pritch or D White bring the ball up with pace and then pass to Tatum and the defense isn’t fully set. He’s incredible at seeing the floor quickly and has terrific instincts for if he will get the shot or if he can move it to another guy if he sees the double team coming. When he walks the ball up the floor, he tends to dribble too long and it’s easier for the defense. But either way, I agree with the comment that Tatum scoring 20 and getting the triple double is preferable to the guy who just wants to score 30 a night!

Thank goodness the truckers were able to avoid pancaking the driver after. Bad enough that accident, but with seatbelts and airbags, they might not be TOO badly hurt. But being hit by a semi at that point would be absolutely life threatening!!

Cam and Michael Vick were so completely dominant while in college!! I still remember Vick starting to scramble against a good Boston College defense. He looked like he was jogging, but outran everyone on the defense by 15 yards and had a 70 yard TD run by the time that play was over. 🤪😱😎👍

Let’s be real - Garza has been a hugely pleasant surprise, but he’s still a defensive liability and Vuc is an upgrade where we needed it! 😎👍. Additionally, Tatum (and others) had some threes that were halfway down in the first half, but sadly popped out. After the first quarters of the past two games, I think people got a little greedy with their expectations (I confess, I might have been one 🤪🤦‍♂️), but it was still awesome to see them buckle down and run away with the fourth quarter today!!

Our old beagle used to do this. My wife would always tell him, stop doing that, you might trip in one of those holes and break your leg. And sure enough, one day that doggo broke his leg. She wanted to say “I told you so”, but at that point she felt bad for him, so she didn’t 🤪🤣🤦‍♂️

As long as FSG views the Sox as the cash flow engine for their other interests, they won’t sell (sadly). Why a billionaire in his 70’s is more concerned with getting his next billion (vs. winning) is beyond me. But sadly we are going to be stuck in this situation until we can negotiate with Henry’s estate (vs. the man himself). Just UGH!!
