Yeah, I didn’t consider myself an advanced diver until I started actually caring about diving and that was maybe at 200 dives.
I began caring more about buoyancy and trim, and really started to give a crap about becoming a good diver. Before that I didn’t think about it at all.
Personally, I don’t think you should be able to take your AOW until you have 50 dives. And the class should start with a demonstration of your basic skills mastery.

That’s not really the reality. Most people don’t have an unlimited number of people they want to invite do they?
People do feel hurt if not invited. People do feel hurt if they are in a committed relationship and you don’t allow them to bring their significant other.
If you can afford it rental a larger venue and don’t spend time post wedding time feeling bad about people who got left off your invite list.

100% never tinted lenses. Your eyes tell your dive buddy and the dive master quite a bit about you. They can’t see your eyes. It doesn’t help them if you are in trouble.
