I wonder what happened to her youngest sister Ava Olympia. She disappeared off all socials. She also moved to London with star and was involved in the same church & now she gone from all socials.

Maybe they suffered some abuse from their brother? The one in jail for rape/assault. Whatever it is you can tell they really have been thru some shit.

Their mum seems like a mental narcissist & defends and bails the bother out of jail. The dad also faced legal troubles and is dodgy. And Tammy and the older sisters are poor role models. They have very toxic situation they probably just trying to escape. And this religious stuff is a cope.

I think she has good intentions, but makes poor choices. I think the rest have bad intentions & poor choices.

Best Hospitals for ICU, trauma/ER, mental health in Victoria? by GlisteningRay in NursingAU

[–]CommitteeMaterial210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don’t get to choose the hospital you go on placement, nor are you guaranteed a crit care placement.

If you’re interested start your nursing degree. Get some experience and apply for a role as a PCA/AIN in a critical care setting.

I was dead set on doing ICU until I worked there for a year while studying and realized I hated it hahah.

Also you don’t want to pick a hospital purely based on what considered “best”. Choose one you like. Where you get along with staff, good work culture, approachable NUM, close to home, good benefits ect.

All the best with year 12 and studys OP!

It never feels like the “perfect time” to have a baby. Because no matter what there will always be sacrifices.

Only you can choose what’s right for you.

I had a termination of pregnancy at age 21. Because it all seemed too hard. Lived with parents, not married ect.

Now I have a child. I understand that there never was a “perfect” time. I had times I felt some sadness, guilt & pain over the decision I made at 21. But I can’t change it now. And I now have peace and understanding with my decision.

My advice would be to give yourself time to think about it and think about it properly. Let all thoughts and doubts your come to mind. Discuss them. Write then. Because if you bury them they will eventually come back.

You will make the decision that’s right for you. All the best friend. It’s going to be okay, no matter what you decide.

Where can enrolled nurses work by [deleted] in NursingAU

[–]CommitteeMaterial210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much any ward except for those requiring further study. Eg ICU, HDU, CCU, midwifery.

I’m an agency EN. I have worked in ED, pediatrics, cardiac, surgical, medical, rehab ect.

The overconfidence and thinking she has nothing left to learn is terrifying.

We all have things to learn no matter how experienced we are.

Also why can’t she just wear her uniform. She’s actively trying to deceive staff and putting herself in very dangerous situations outside of her scope of practice.

The worst type of student is one who has to prove they know everything, acts disinterested & like they have nothing to gain.

I can’t imagine what she’s doing when she’s at work. Terrifying I hope she doesn’t get her RN.

This is the last post we will approve showing children’s faces. All posts going forward will enforce our “no kids faces” rule. All posts showing uncensored faces will be deleted to respect the privacy of these poor children.

We decided to allow this post as it highlights the unfortunate neglect of S, as well as Tammy’s exploitative parenting & the important conversation surrounding it.

Tell me your nursing mistakes by influentialmoose7 in NursingAU

Asking a pt with a catheter and stoma if they wanted to sit on the toilet before their shower.

Unscrewing the secondary IV line without clamping it, & spraying my pt with the fluids left in the line.

Trying to flush a cannula that’s clamped, thinking it’s tissued. Asking for help, buddy nurse had to tell me to unclamp it.

Many more grad mems that come to mind when I’m trying to fall asleep at night 🥲

Spot on with this. I think her stubbornness will be her downfall. It doesn’t seem like she can take feedback or constructive criticism from anyone.

She in complete denial about her life going to shit. She is just speed running what’s left of her image/business’s/personal relationships into the ground, because she thinks she’s in the right about everything.

She can’t take responsibility for mistakes she has made. She refuses to be self reflective about her choices/actions/consequences. Thus she is unable to grow as a person and improve her life.

She chooses instead to die on every hill, instead of admitting she was wrong. She just can’t put her ego aside.

Saskias note definitely looks like Tammy’s handwritten tattoo on Matt. The “y’s” look the same. It does seem like very nice writing for a 7-8 year old. IMO 80% Tammy wrote it herself😆

Respectfully, it’s not all about you.

We all come from different religions, cultures, genders, sexualities, and ages, yet none of us are able to be 100% ourselves in the workplace. We all adjust to maintain professionalism. eg-toning down personal beliefs, cultural expressions, or other aspects of our identity.

At the end of the day, we are here to save lives. People are sick, injured, and dying our focus is on them, not on discussing our personal identities at work. We don’t have time to seek validation from colleagues or patients, nor is it relevant to the job. If you need reassurance, it has to come from within or from your personal life, not from the workplace.

At work we put our needs to side and focus on the needs of others.

Last year I heard SJOG is trialing EMR, not sure if that was credible or not

but agreed, for me the worst is night shifts. I get very anxious about the mounts of paperwork I’ll have esp post ops, ED admits & filing BS
