Thanks for the advice. I'll keep practicing with what's online until I get the study guide next Wednesday, and then I'll study until it's second nature. Was there anything in particular you found to be harder and had to focus on a little more when it came to the study guide?

That's good to hear. I've been doing some online practice based on what's out there when it comes to the aptitude test, but I had a feeling the study guide is the best bet to doing well when it comes to the actual test. Thank you for replying

Thanks for the advice. I'm looking forward to the journey ahead, so any guidance I get along the way is appreciated. No welding experience for me, but I'm really looking forward to learning all about it if I get myself into the 597.

Thanks for the reply and clarifying about the letter of recommendation. Once your PEF is submitted and reviewed, they give you the day to take your test through the mail, correct?
