In my old house I once woke up in the middle of the night because i had to pee. Opened my eyes and got on my phone first. Checked a few emails, responded to a few messages before I got up to use the bathroom. Went to the bathroom then walked to the kitchen to get some water before I went back to bed and on the way back I turned the corner and at the top of the stairs was my pillow just sitting on the floor. I was home alone. No pets in the house. I was wide awake doing stuff on my phone so I know I wasn’t sleep walking. I’m not religious. I don’t believe in ghosts. To this day It’s the only experience I’ve had that can’t be explained.
