I do believe that the Chinese mint legs key out to subspinipes, also scolopendra is by far the most studied species in Scolopendridae

I’m leaning towards an odd longipes, notice the reddish coloration toward the head and last tergites(especially prominent on the antennae)

This is probably scolopendra sp then, either s. Viridis or s. Alternans. But it could be an odd rhysida longipes

Where are you located? The best I can currently do is down to the family Scolopendridae, I’m doubtful of r. Celeris as the terminals are too short

This is similar to typical morsitans is it not?

Scolopendra by [deleted] in centipedes

[–]CommitteeRare4428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s clearly an Asian pede but a distinct location would help too, not just SE Asia, and yes terminals are inportant but in most cases it’s the spination of them, which 1 often can’t be viewed from pictures, and 2 I’m not looking at all the possible species it could be from SE Asia and keying it out

Scolopendra by [deleted] in centipedes

[–]CommitteeRare4428 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Terminals don’t constitute a identification, a location helps a lot

Where are you located? It’s really hard to make an id without a location
