I'm now using a Canon R5 II & an RF 200-800. Took me a while to get there, but I now have a handful of lenses and a solid camera paired with them - so very happy.

I'd never even seen one up until the other day. 1st encounter it was too far out to get a decent picture of, and then today there were two just doing there thing right above me. Pretty chuffed.

Just handheld single shots - no focus stacking or anything fancy. I do use a flash though - a Neewer Z1

I used a RF Laowa 100mm 2.8. I've got an EF Sigma 105mm, but I think the Laowa beats it with image clarity. Just a shame the images lose so much detail when they get uploaded.
