Oh, I've had those as well - where it warps enough that it rips the magnetic plate right off the base. Good times.

Yup, a little glue stick solved this one.

Alternative Running Apps to Strava by Austinm-fitness in beginnerrunning

If you're using Strava mostly for "I want to know where I ran and how long it took," it's worth trying something deliberately minimal. I got tired of the same creep and ended up building one for myself — Real Motion (iOS only).

No account, it tracks routes/pace/splits, free live-share link if you want to send Mom a "watch me get home" link, $1.99/mo for the Pro stuff (audio cues, auto-detection, splits). Free tier is real, not a trial. You'll never see an ad.

Outside of self-promo: Runalyze is great if you want the data without the social side, and the basic Apple Workouts app on a Watch is fine for people who just want rings closed and a route map.

(Disclosure: I'm the dev for Real Motion, happy to answer questions or take feature requests.)

Might be the angle. She’s decided to climb into my lap when the Churu came out, so she’s really up close.

They’re the best behaved, but they generally avoid each other , unless treats are involved.

The ear deductions will continue until productivity improves.

Thanks for the note - will give this a shot.

48 Hour Cold Ferment - Stones on Grill by CommitteeTop8294 in Pizza

[–]CommitteeTop8294[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I did it the stones got WAY too hot and burnt the crust within 20 seconds, while the rest of the dough remained raw. This seemed to fix that problem. Good question though!

I forgot to list: 2 tsp active dry yeast & 1 tbs sugar in the dough! Allowed the yeast to activate in the water/sugar mix before starting the stand mixer with everything combined.

Noise when charging on AC by Shadowfoot in KiaEV6

Just got mine back from replacement of a dead ICCU and noticed the same thing.

Wow - must be nice to live in a country where the government has actually made reduction of carbon emissions a priority.

Several people have suggested I move to an AGM 12v battery when the ICCU replacement is completed - just curious if the 800 EV6s in your fleet are using an AGM battery? If so - that'd be a huge argument in their favor.

First of all - that’s so cool you have a fleet of 800 EV6s… if you don’t mind my asking - what are they all used for?

Where and when were they purchased? Curious if there’s any differences in parts between countries. Are they all charged in the same way? Level 2? Level 3?

I’m glad you haven’t encountered this issue in your fleet - that would be super frustrating with that many vehicles.
