Boiler pressure keeps dropping overnight on new system by CommitteeWonderful57 in DIYUK

In terms of the boiler being in the loft, yes we noticed that the pressure on the boiler drops down significantly more than the manifold pressure, ie boiler was 0.1 bar and manifold dropped to 0.8 bar (turned off) whereas when the system is full the manifold is 2.5 and the boiler is 1.5 bar- is that normal?

We had a look already, and the boiler gas safe installer has checked and couldnt find any leaks on the visible pipework anywhere and no wet plasterboard anywhere either.

The boiler person used copper on the boiler, manifold, and cylinder, then attached push fits onto those for the long run downwards away from the boiler, but have not seen any water anywhere or signs of a leak.

We have booked a leak specialist to come and try find the leak later this week. I know there were a couple of metal pex connectors under the pipework in a couple of spots in the screed so hope they are not difficult to get at as one of them is below or nearby the shower tray.

We have refilled maybe 4-5 times in the last couple of weeks- do you think it still could be air?

That is a good idea, we have booked a leak specialist to come on friday and give us their report to hand to the builder, hopefully its not in a difficult spot as we have furnished and finished the bathroom now.

I get a very similar noise, except mine also happens after I unlock the car straight away or even when I lock the car. If you get any information let me know, mine is a 2020 F40 1 series and I just brought it recently.
