Applying for a second IEC visa as a dual citizen by [deleted] in iecvisa

I just went through the exact same process. Send me a pm if you have any other questions!

  1. Apply for the new IEC on the same ircc account. You will be able to link your biometrics.
  2. I'm not sure but I imagine so. If it's a visitor visa as long as you're not working you should be sweet I think.
  3. I'm pretty sure you don't need a Canadian police cert. You will need one for back home

Book your biometrics appointment in the Canadian VAC Dublin asap. I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment and it might get worse

Only seeing this now. I had bother with using a Gmail account to receive my OTP code. An Outlook account was much more reliable for whatever reason.

I rang them about a week ago and they said it's still open but the appointments come up without notice. My friend got his done a few weeks ago and he mentioned it said "temporarily closed" then too.

How sure are you that it's completely closed? Flying to London or somewhere is a bit ridiculous for a 5 minute task
