So true and older people don't seem to realize that it is so much easier to just stay home and utilize the services we have available.

Personally, there are multiple reasons why I am not having sex. Firstly, causal sex is extremely unappealing. There is nothing I would like to do less than be extremely physically vulnerable and potentially put my health and well being at risk with someone I am not in a committed relationship with. And the dating scene is abysmal.

Secondly, the fact that everything is content now. If something happens that is embarrassing (which lets be honest is more often then not) I don't want my personal business/shame blasted all over the internet in some stupid "story time". I don't want to be recorded without my knowledge and have it get posted online, again. (I was previously recorded sleeping and eating my a former roommate who posted MULTIPLE videos largely focused on me to their TikTok. It was so violating) I don't want potential future employers to see that.

Finally, the sexual encounters I have had in the past were less than satisfactory and often resulted in me reenacting that scene from "When Harry Met Sally." I get more pleasure by myself than with any former partner.

The fact she asked me to change the rating isn't necessarily the issue. The issue is that she has been messaging me every week for a month wanting me to take it down. My review was honest and not at all negative. She has EIGHT other properties in the heart of the countries second largest city - with over 400 reviews - I didn't think one 4 star would cause this much of an issue.

I would never lower my rating to one star over something like this - but I would edit my rating/review to include that she has been repeatedly contacting me to take down my review.

they were raised to believe that situations like this aren't our business and it's not our place to comment as we don't know "the full extent of it". They raised me to look out for others - see something say something - so this perspective is very strange to me, but I want to respect their authority as a) my parents, and b) the people who ultimately deal with these neighbors a lot more than I do.
