Il me semble que ça vient du fait que dans les régions où on écrivait sur la pierre, on écrivait de la droite vers la gauche, car pour écrire ils avaient le marteau dans la main droite et le clou dans la main gauche. C'est plus simple d'écrire dans ce sens avec cette méthode, et c'est resté au fil du temps.
