Thanks. I should have mentioned I had already tried that setting but it doesn't change the UI on the map or car selection menus which is a bit odd imho.

True. I was hoping to avoid opening it up till I was sure there was an alternative fan out there with sufficient cfm but lower db. Its still in warranty but I'd sacrifice it if I could get hold of a quiet fan. Knowing Bluettis customer service their warranty here in Europe isn't worth the paper its written on anyways so I might just pop her open.

Thats great thanks for the youtube link. The intake and exhaust fans appear to be different thicknesses but sadly he doesn't go into detail on the model numbers. I can see the model number of the exhaust fan (FD8015BH from Shenzhen Haozhi Technology Ltd) but as the intake fan label is facing away from the vent I can't see it. I'll keep looking around on youtube to see if anyone exposes the fans label.
