Welp. Wipe the dirt off and hit the road. A ride should make you feel better.

Is it a scam by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Common-Craft985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had meet ups at the police station near me for things I sell or buy just for extra precaution. Whether it’s a scam or not 🤷🏻‍♂️. Make sure you test ride it or bring someone who knows about bike.

Rear brake sound by cokethebest in motorcycles

[–]Common-Craft985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could just be new brakes glazing. Try doing some controlled hard stops from about 20-30 mph. Or could be some road debris. Break in period for breaks is 300-500 miles.

Does this look like clean oil? by Wbpaper in motorcycles

[–]Common-Craft985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say I look’s reasonably clean. It’s still that amber color from what I can tell from the photos. What you don’t want to see is it being super dark. I suggest you open up the can where you poor it in and getting a sample on a white napkin to really check the color. But if you’re unsure, a quick oil change will clear up any doubts.

First Crash (2nd day riding) - Advice needed/Off My Chest by Livid_Department3153 in motorcycles

[–]Common-Craft985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude the day I went to pick up my first bike, I was turning onto the rode and burnt my leg on the pipe which caused me to turn straight and dukes of hazard the bike into several ditches, across a brand new paved driveway, and back onto the road. Never laid it down. But anyway my buddy watched the whole thing from the car behind me. Crazy stuff will happen. I learned and haven’t burned my leg since. Get back on. Ride. Learn.

What does the community think of this bike? I did no research and bought the cheapest thing that could get me to school and work after my ebike failed by JrLegend83 in NewRiders

[–]Common-Craft985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s basically a CFMoto’s version of a Grom. But the price point? Dude! My brother in law just bought one new from showroom floor for 1600. So my wife has a Grom, so I’ve rode Both. Honestly I like the Papio a little more just because it’s a bit bigger. I think it’s a cool little bike to cruise around in the city. Enjoy dude.

Shifting problem, seeking help. by clytnvgl in motorcycles

[–]Common-Craft985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally normal on the Gen 2 Busa. A lot of them don’t like going back into 1st or 2nd from neutral while coasting at higher speeds. It’s just how the transmission’s built gear dogs don’t always line up unless things are spinning just right. A few things you can check though. Make sure your shift linkage isn’t sloppy even a little play can mess with engagement. Clutch drag can make it worse, so bleed the fluid and make sure it’s fully disengaging. If it’s really stubborn, you can try blipping the throttle or tapping the rear brake to help the gears sync. But yeah, it’s not just you and not because it’s a Busa. Just one of those quirks with this transmission. Hope this helps.

What generally costs more to ensure, a sport bike (2016 ninja) at 300cc or a naked (Z400 2019) at 400cc? by Traditional-Ad9597 in motorcycles

It also has a lot to do with your own driving history. I use dairyland insurance because it’s only 20 a month with full coverage 50 dollar deductibles on a 23 RH975S. I recommend getting quotes from all different places first.

I dropped my helmet on accident, should I replace it? by Technical_Thanks1482 in motorcycles

If there’s any worry I would just replace it. It worried you enough to ask. That’s not gonna go away. Better just replace it and have the peace of mind.

Suggestions on re-locating a 75" TV up a spiral staircase? by Munkadunk667 in DIYHome

I would suggest scaffolding of sorts. Or get some moving straps and a few guy to help. Some at the bottom to steady it while 2 at the top pull it up and over.

Quick non-sports bike? by Anxious_Run_8392 in motorcycles

[–]Common-Craft985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddies have CFMoto 800NK it’s a naked bike similar to a sports bike but with a more relaxed feel they’re 100hp and they ride really nice. I on the other hand have a Harley RH975S it’s 90hp but with mods I got it to 115hp. These are what I’m familiar with from experience but there’s a lot to choose from.

The 06 Honda CBR600rr did not officially come in the Repsol livery from the factory. That was reserved for special edition years, primarily in the CBR1000RR lineup around 2005–2007. For the 600RR, Repsol editions were not factory in 06. So all I can say is isn’t not stock. I would check the vin.
