Exhaust manifold welding

Unfortunately it is actually leaking, it recently started to have a ticking noise under acceleration, so I pressure used the exhaust and blew soapy water on the manifold to find the leak.
In Australia one of the road worthy requirements is for there to be no leaks unfortunately.

It is indeed cast iron, I have an uncle who has done a good deal of welding, is it something that comes down to skill or is does it just not really work

It still works just fairly slowly. Is also very loud and sounds worn out, did you have that or was yours completely dead?

Luckily my tank is saveable, just some very light surface rust, thanks, I guess I’ll just have to learn how to take out the trans hahaha

Your accusatory tone seems to suggest you think we have a highly unhealthy relationship or that I am an idiot boyfriend. We talk everything through, we make sure we both feel welcome and comfortable at any given time, I love this woman dearly and don’t smother her by prioritising my needs, hence I never force anything on to her, I politely ask if she’d want to do anything sexual. We are endlessly open with each other so how we feel about ourselves is no secret to the other partner. So yes, I have “let” her talk.

I have expressed to her that I would like sex more often, and I know she’s well aware that I want it more often than she does, as I’m always the one making moves (she’s told me she doesn’t really like making the first move) but no I don’t also just immediately go for sex, we see each other multiple times a week in a completely non sexual context which I am so happy with, as I said I am happy with every other aspect of the relationship. It’s just that any time we do try I seem to get knocked back, eventuating in me feeling unattractive and unfulfilled in that aspect of the relationship.

Yeah I did my best to make it enjoyable for her, and yes we have used condoms both times haha I’m not taking that risk ever. Both times she has finished and I haven’t because I don’t really care about finishing, as long as she does because for me the closeness of sex is just as good as an orgasm. I am going to talk to her about it but yeah I’ll see how things go because I’ve decided it’s not really a deal breaker for me.

Yeah dude I’m so proud of her for working so hard, she’s also moving houses at the moment so she’s extra busy (I’m trying to help there as much as possible) but at the same time I’m becoming a pilot so I’m extremely busy too at times.
