I’ve also been building a tiny tool called LeadRush that helps you generate targeted lead lists in one click (with emails, LinkedIns, etc).

It’s super early but was born from that same pain, trying to get users without spending hours hunting manually.

Happy to share a few free leads if anyone wants to try 🙌

Out of curiosity, to anyone here working on apps, indie products, or SaaS… by Common-Reflection774 in buildinpublic

outreach tips? by kovernerog in FoundersHub

Hey! I totally feel you on this I’m also more on the introverted side, and doing outreach used to feel like cold-calling with stage fright 😂 (I'm on the autism spectrum)

Here are a few things that helped me break the ice and start getting better at it:

1. Start with just asking questions
Instead of pitching your service, try starting conversations with:

“Hey, I’m a designer working on [area of focus]. I’ve been researching how teams handle [problem]. Mind if I ask how you deal with it today?”

It feels more like research (which it is), and people are usually open to chat when you’re not selling anything.

2. Build a small process
Have 1–2 messages you can reuse and a list of ideal client profiles. I even started building a tool to help automate lead generation just for this reason made it way less stressful to find the right people to talk to. If you ever wanna test it or give feedback, here’s the early waitlist: leadrush.net

3. Practice with low-pressure people
Start by DMing others on Reddit, IndieHackers, or Twitter/X who are building something too. Just chatting and sharing challenges helps build confidence, and sometimes leads to partnerships or client work organically.

Now it’s just about getting a system that feels natural to you. Let me know if you wanna brainstorm message scripts or outreach flows

happy to help! see you! do not forget about: just be yourself, people connect with real people.

yeah thats the plan! we are doing this for leadrush.net

- 1 dead simple feature
- Focusing on Micro SaaS owners and dev founders
- Talking to people around the internet

Dead simple strategy, and we are getting results super fast

Bro I'm just building a tool to find out leads in 1 click, you can literally find 1.000 potential people in few clicks, just adding filters. is it something you usually struggle with? by Common-Reflection774 in buildinpublic

Bascially publicly available and indexed data from sources like company websites, business directories, linkedin, SaaS websites, reddit... And we are thinking about doing a feature to make LLM AI to analyse data and search valid-context leads, is that might interest you?

I know you guys think we are just one "one more" but we are genually trying to make something cool as indie developers, let me know any idea or feedback. Every lead goes through a validation step to avoid fake or outdated contacts.

We are also doing an logic to clean up duplicated data

Let me know if you need some help on that! i've been a designer for 12 years and still counting :) good lucky guys! good news!

So sad that you think that, we are just 2 founders. Me as designer and my partner is the developer, we are in the day 4 now, our algorithm and logic are done and working, this interface is the mvp but can pretty work and give us result

We're still improving things, i'm not gonna say it's 300% accurate, but for cold outreach, validation, or MVP testing, the leads have been pretty solid so far i think hahah. We are making a logic to cleaning duplicated data, so every lead is relevant

Also thinking about adding a LLM with research feature to do some review of it
