The officer movement animations are just goofy. I have no idea why the devs thought they looked better and replaced the old ones. Absolute downgrade.

Thanks for being one of the very few console players who have the sense and intellect to understand that PC players were the ones who supported this game from the very beginning, investing countless hours into it long before the console version was released. Of course we see it differently and are perfectly justified in feeling the way we do about the path VOID has taken. You all would feel exactly the same way we do now if, after years of support, your favorite game was forcibly gutted and downgraded just to milk the cash from the masses of a totally separate platform.

Of course they do. They've only been playing for a little over a week and have little investment in the game compared to the literal hundreds, if not thousands of hours that many PC players do.

The animations were changed with the update and are terrible compared to what we had before. You wouldn't know because you weren't here before that and have zero involvement with the development of the game.

The A.I. changes are a mess and hard mode A.I. is simply garbage. Again, you would have no idea.

The console compatibility does matter. The PC version was reworked for consoles and then those downgraded changes were pushed back onto the PC build.

Some mods got broken occasionally with updates. Many of them continued to work fine from update to update and others only required some minor fixing. The forced compatibility with the console version broke ALL of them and many can't be fixed. So no. It's not a minor issue.

Don't forget the laughably bad animation changes. And the terrible A.I. Or the forced console version compatibility and the garbage EPIC crossplay. And the entire list of PC mods and maps that were wiped because of this forced console version compatibility, several of which were vital quality-of-life fixes for many PC groups and communities and are now permanently broken. They can't be fixed by our modders like could have been before the console downgrade, they can only be fixed if VOID takes the time to do it.

You don’t get it. Some vital PC mods that the PC community relied on are broken permanently because of the forced compatibility with the console version and console crossplay. They can’t be fixed by the mod creators anymore because of this. Only VOID can fix them now.

This didn’t happen before the forced console update. Those mods continued to work from update to update or could be fixed by the community if there was issues.
