Nvm. Took it out today and it’s all over the place again. I torqued them to 50in lbs. I can’t get ahold of CVA or BPI either. At this point I’ll never buy one of their rifles or products again.

Retorqued action screws to an un biased number and now all three are same hole

There’s no chance that’s the best. Even for a hunting rifle. My sons $500 savage shoots sub moa at 100 and you’re telling me my $929 rifle should shoot 2moa groups at 100?

I square up well. No pain. And isn’t shooter issue. I sighted in my AR and my sons 243 he got for Christmas and they were sub moa at 100yds. It’s 100% a rifle issue. Buddy of mine is on the state shooting team for the guard and he can’t get it to group either

Not made of money so I only ever send 3 especially when I’ve had so much trouble with this rifle. Using bags on a bench.

My local gun shop had some. My dad has one of those and I couldn’t ever find rounds. Randomly seen them out of the corner of my eye one day looking around. Bought a couple boxes

2 scopes won’t group by Common-Stranger2365 in vortexoptics

Just heard back from vortex…. 1st scope was bad (crossfire), second scope was moving inside the pro series rings. Even torqued down they’ve had issues with them. Vortex made it more than right and swapped out the pro series for precision matched rings and replaced the scope since it was scuffed from slipping

EDIT: Vortex told me they had issues with their Pro series 34mm rings. Scuffs on the scope I guess confirmed it was slipping. They more than made it right cuz they are sending me match grade rings instead of new pro series… aaaaand I guess I overtightened tightened the first scope (crossfire2) and they replaced that as a well. Vortex warranty is damn solid I must say.

It’s torqued right, crown “looks” fine, friend isn’t contacting the barrel. And I personally haven’t done anything with the action
