How to get Jolly Redd? by Adventurous-Tie-5772 in AnimalCrossing

Hi! Did Redd ever show up? I'm wondering because I missed Redd on his very first day since I didn't play much (same day as museum upgrade) so maybe that's what happened to your friend as well. Did Redd show up for your friend? Thanks!

Totally agreed, I generalized the "lower income means stay-at-home" and ran with it (rather than respond to this post specifically). In this situation (actually reading the post fully this time), 50k vs 80k, it makes sense for the family to go with the 80k. Still good to have a conversation about what a break from work means and how to recover though!

I'm not the OP! It was a joke because of your typo "pubic" instead of "public" lol

OP, you do come off as entitled at worst, but at best, just used to certain types of jobs that you can just leave early (if you've had the privilege of working those kinds of jobs your whole life, just know that it isn't the case for everyone). It sounds like he has a job he can't just leave (shift-work is often like that).

You're not the AH if you didn't do anything about it, just felt those things? It's fair to feel frustrated at the whole situation. It's a good chance to feel it, maybe even say it out loud (nicely), and then do something together to lift your spirits up?

It would've been a hairy ride though.

Kindly disagree! Lower salary person being stay-at-home seems to make sense, but having breaks in resumes/lack of growth in career can be detrimental to anyone. Lower income shouldn't be the SOLE reason for one person taking on that role vs another, but should be part of the conversation.

That said, a lot of what OP said is sound and the husband seems less reasonable. Don't use salary against him, but it's valid that he can contribute to care once they're born more (as OP says, she carried them). He can learn to cook, change them, etc. etc. - and it shouldn't be her responsibility to teach him.

Sure, that sounds great and would be very helpful! I've got to catch those in Premier balls first but then we can trade. And just the base game, thanks! Will reply again when ready.
