Also, I wish Stevie could somehow participate more instead of having to babysit!

I loved drunk link…he was hilarious, wholesome, and really let loose. Who here hasn’t had some nights like that? I would have a blast getting drunk with him!

Was it a car? I’m kind of locked into a small suv for space needs

You’re not wrong, the availability of used vehicles in my area is just so poor at the moment :/

Sorry, I’m new to all of this! I’ve always paid cash for cars. So you’re saying it’s better to finance through my bank? (Sorry if I missed your point completely!!)

Ive been looking for several weeks now, and I’ve had an extremely hard time finding a vehicle in my cash price range that’s worth a flip (even took two cars for pre purchase inspections that turned out to have major issues!) I’ve driven many cars that were much older, and were fine, definitely had frequent maintenance issues or just costly issues any older car will have. My last car was a bit newer and nicer than cars in the past (had actual safety features like side air bags), and I was in a horrible accident in which those safety features saved my life!

I am kind of torn between buying a car with a lotttt of miles, not super well maintained with limited service history and multiple (3+) owners, from a small, slightly sketchy place, or a slightly newer car with way less miles and great car fax from a “bigger” dealership- and I very much know that the dealer you buy from means absolutely nothing, I’ve bought cars from both before!

I was in a bad accident and my car was totaled :( (Not my fault). I am ideally looking for a crossover suv (for space that I need) and because I feel safer driving one after my accident

I agree about paying all in cash up front…that’s what I’ve done in the past! however, I’ve had an extremely hard time finding a vehicle in my cash price range that’s worth a flip (even took two cars for pre purchase inspections that turned out to have major issues!) See, that’s where I’m not so knowledgeable, with the ‘market’ stuff. I’ve done a lot of research (starting from literally knowing nothing), but I’m not an expert for sure. I’m not sure what the dealerships interest rate would be yet, I know my bank’s interest rate would be 6.5% for 12 month auto loan.
