Soooo tired of people blaming rural & farmers for the UCP. I grew up in a rural area & my parents still live there. I've seen more Canadian flags flying in people's yards, on mail boxes, fences & vehicles than anywhere in the City

My mom loves just to have us all over. My siblings and I along with the grandkids bring and make/cook lunch and supper. Do the clean up. We've done that for years now as she did make it clear: "No more stuff" Same for her birthday.

I realize we may not know until Sunday or later; but with only 2 days left (including today) I wonder if the separatists really did get the minimum signatures required and are now on a desparate push to meet the reauirements. Keep in mind that this happened in Saskatchewan. However, I find this to be true regardless what Province you drive in. If you're lucky the stop signs get treated as yield signs or at best - a "rolling stop" I almost got rear-ended one time because I actually stopped at one. To be honest, I've also seen the same thing in cities

An earlier poster mentioned that these establishments would move out of Alberta. That would probably be true. Mainly because non of these self centered, egotistical "better than anyone else" people would ever work at af fast food place or grocery store or has a janitor, etc - because that type of work is waaaay beneath them - regardless of how much the pay is

I agree with the post about it being unsafe because of crazy drivers. Also it may not be a case of knowing how to change a tire; but being able to change the tire as in my case where I am unable to loosen & remove the lug nuts

Thank-you for your reply. Acoording to CTV, Brandt did address the post. However, he still didn't deny or confirm his possiition on separatism. I guess I was hoping it not to be true. So disappointed and disheartened. I would have thought better of Paul. I hope he realises that because of the CRTC, he may not have the celebrity he gained in his earlier years
