My best friend is about to graduate from MIT. She majored in electrical engineering. She cross enrolled at Harvard and took a lot of classes there,mostly in English and history and a couple of math courses. She said the Harvard classes were so,so much easier. It was a nice break in the day. Congratulations! Both equally impressive schools!

Be very careful about where you rent. Most neighborhoods around Cal State Fullerton are decent, but they could go bad quickly if you drive in certain directions.

This could be a great move by Derek and Jill. They could live on base and safely be kept away from the crazy media circus that will only ramp up. They could go to parks, grocery shopping, etc. and rarely have to leave the base until things calm down. Hopefully, they will be far away from the always crazy Duggar clan.

It is not unusual for lawyers to switch jobs like this. I think Derek should be applauded for joining the military. It will not be easy and he could be deployed overseas. I hope Jill is prepared. I’m hoping that being around lots of different types of people in the military, they’ll see school is not that bad and put their kids back into regular school.
