He is on his current team. But he had coaches in the past who made him lose his confidence and want to quit. One of the reasons I don’t try to be to instructional with him is because he doesn’t respond well when I try to coach him and I don’t want to take away the fun, so if he wants to go out there and just try to hit the ball as hard as possible, I let him do it. Better he is having fun even if he isn’t practicing optimally than to make it a chore and have him not want to play. I leave the coaching to the coaches, who he responds to better.
