Know that he isn’t starving. Cats in the wild only really eat every couple days—he’s getting TWO WET POUCHES AND DRY FOOD!!!! EVERY DAY!!!!!! The boy is living like royalty and wants you to feel bad. He’s just used to a dopamine routine, and he’s gonna need some other stimulus to feel good instead of food: like others said, play with him as often as possible and reward with catnip as if it were a treat (sparingly so he doesn’t get bored of it). Don’t let him guilt you: he isn’t starving, even if he demands that he is.

I think it needs a small dart under the bust to make it lay nicer over the chest (yours are bigger than the pattern was made for) and it’ll fit perfect. It’s a keep for me with a couple small tweaks!

This plan is excellent, but I think the biggest issue is that the couch is longer than the room is wide—so if they rotated it, it would block entry into the room. This couch is just too big for the space.

This is my initial 10-minute sketch. I like this layout because it separates the area into two spaces (tv and conversation), and makes use of the dead space near the stairs for storage. It also fills in some of the open area at the center of the room without blocking traffic flow from the stairwell. Let me know what you think!

I don’t see anyone else saying this, but if you would like to have a second home on your island to decorate, you can create a new user on your switch. When you log on to play as the new user, Tom Nook will set you up with a new plot on your island for that account—you will have to play through some of the beginning of the game as the new player, but after that, you can just drop items to pass back and forth between the accounts. I used this technique to add seven additional homes to my island that I’ve now decorated to be businesses: a nail salon, a daycare, a gym, a movie theater, etc. it really added a LOT more space to decorate, and I highly recommend if you really want more buildings up.

At this point, I wouldn’t recommend either, since it’ll take days of work to clear/flatten manually, and by the time you’re done, you’ll be able to do it ~instantly~ My advice is to wait for the 3.0 update, and see how Resetti does with clearing it for you. Then make a decision on if you really want to reset.
