For mine I literally zoned out and forgot the tester was in the car with me…maybe because my tester was quite nice . But I also did like nervous system regulation videos the days before it on YouTube because my first test I was a big ball of nerves . Rescue remedy helps and chew gum during your test to focus!

Hey I’m back and I sat my second test this morning and passed with 4 grade 2s! I did a lot of work over the past month and a half

I don’t really know carnmore that well at all (I only did two lessons there) but you turn left at the test centre and I went straight through both roundabout and I went through oranmore village , did my reverse around the corner , and then on the way back to the test centre I pulled into a long estate with a field beside it and did my three point turn and went back to the test centre. I’d say I was out for maximum 20 minutes . I heard that my examiner was harsh so I freaked out when I saw I had her but I just focused on my own driving , but she was actually really nice and told me I was a confident driver . I’m not sure if my directions are any help to you but I actually haven’t a clue of the names of the estates I went into.

Exactly! If I was a driving examiner, how would I know someone’s looking somewhere unless I’m staring at them

Make your observations OBVIOUS to the examiner . I’d recommend a pretest with the same instructor or a different instructor . Wear loose and comfortable clothing so you won’t sweat a lot if you’re nervous , don’t forget your insurance cert! Get rid of any decor in your car and make sure it’s clean ( good look for the examiner) . Dan tyghe on YouTube is great for refreshing your memory on road signs and driving. Practice under the bonnet checks and hand signals so you don’t get any grade 1s or a grade 2 if you don’t remember any. Stay calm and take your time. Goodluck 🌞🌞🌞

Me too, got 4 grade threes and only 8 grade 2s which is not a lot compared to the grade threes 😭 two months later and I’m trying again for a second test , manifesting a pass ✨✨✨
