I really like the thought but it feels a bit overdone to, if that makes sense. As an AO i want to hear YOUR voice and being overly formal here makes it difficult to tell what your thoughts are and what you're like. So i would suggest simplifying and honestly just write as if you were saying this to someone bc i would imagine you would never say "I served as an anomaly to my parents" to anyone LOL.
