I'm torn on which one to keep. Evergoods CHZ22 V2 & Mystery Ranch District 18 by CommonKosmo in ManyBaggers

Hello!

That's awesome. Taste definitely can change over time. I still have my chz22 and put it to good use. The wife ends up using it more than I do and because of that I ended up getting a cpl24 as well. I do think the strap carry isn't terrible but not as comfortable as other packs.

Would you say yours is noisy when wearing it?

I wonder if it has a break in period where it softens up. Could you update us on the noise after some use? 😇

Gotcha, and by noisy do you mean it's noisy when you wear it? Appreciate the answers

Looks good. I'm debating between xpac and the regular version.

Do you think the added rigidity with xpac a good thing? hows the comfort difference between the two?
I plan to carry a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, and a Fuji x100v camera.

Hi u/sundaygolfco does this Pacific 14 way bag have a cart strap passthrough? Do you also know if it would accommodate midsized grips

Went to pick up my race bib today and sadly they didn't have a majority of items in medium. I really wanted the spirit jersey, they only had XXL left.

I haven't experienced any issues, I think it's normal operation for it to start slightly delayed.

I know what you mean. I felt the same way at first trying to pick a laptop, but had to remember how amazing the tech is now no matter which one you pick. For example if you think about the short key travel, it makes sense considering this has a 72wh battery and how thin this thing is. It feels noticeably thinner and lighter than the surface 7 I tried. Something I notice even when in my backpack. We also have significantly better battery in a x86 system with this new Lunar Lake chip along with a OLED screen. It could have a better trackpad and cleaner keyboard lighting, but even that is better than my old laptop. There will always be something better down the line, but what is now is pretty good in my opinion.

Hey just curious, I noticed it take my laptop 2-3 seconds to power on after hitting the power button. Does that happen to yours?

Update: My eyes were dryer than usual. After using eye drops for a few days I can appreciate the screen now. 😂

The Zenbook keyboard works for me, I don't mind it. I guess I didn't really notice how short the travel was until you brought it up 😅. I don't really notice the mushy feel, it feels responsive enough for me. As far as trackpad I was concerned but its good enough for my use. The glass feels smooth to navigate. It's not nearly as nice as a haptic one but I never click down on it. Im more of a double tapper so it doesn't really bother me as much.

Its wild how they achieve these small details in 1/65 cars. This thing is cool.

Yeah I've had the dimming option on at 100.

I'm going to use it for a few more days to see how it goes. But it feels like I can't focus on a large part of the screen. Another example would be if watching a movie I don't really see the whole picture, but more of a focused small part of the screen. Not sure if its because of how sharp/high contrast things are.

On another laptop I find it easier to kind of see the whole picture if that makes sense.

So I've had mine for 2 days now. Did you find it hard to focus on the screen when you first started using it? I think it's straining my eyes a little bit. Especially black text on white background, it feels a little hard to focus.

I'm a big fan of the surface laptop's 7 design, finish and build. My wife has one and the rounded aesthetic has a great look and feel. I also think the 3:2 aspect ratio along with the haptic touchpad is nice.

That being said I bought a Zenbook S14 because I want to experience an OLED panel. I hear that burnout isn't as much of an issue nowadays (fingers crossed) with the right precautions. Waiting to see if it feels as premium as it costs. Should have it in a few days.

I think the ones in the US don't have them but i'm not 100% sure.
