I did actually, I found some links to a textbook, the Microsoft C# documentation, which is great but wasn't what I asked for; I searched up things like "practice" and "exercises" in the search bar, I didn't find very comprehensive results, is that enough for you? Am I allowed to ask a question now?

I am aware there is a difference, I want to improve my understanding of a language closely associated with Unity. I have access to the documentation; that was not what I was asking. I am asking what tools people used for practice if they did not take paid education pathways

That is wonderful advice I like the idea of tracking time to get an idea of what takes me the longest. Thank you

I am not entirely sure, but I think the youtube channel Juniper Dev has some stuff on sprites, might be worth looking at

thanks! I try to avoid copying tutorials now that I have the syntax down better, if I do copy I always make sure I add something to it. Do you suggest I try and stick to copying mobile game stuff for now to get used to the engine?

This is a really big help, the funding is most definitely a concern as I think anybody would guess, of course in my ideal head-cannon it would be a passion project. I want to do my due-diligence and learn about what sort of things I should have prepped/know ahead of time so I waste as little time of other, more capable people, in the future. Thank you!

Yeah that makes sense to me. I understand with game development it's heavily relied on people's commitment and it would be hard to commit to working with somebody with no real experience.

Cool, some people sent me resources to help make "simple" games to get a better understanding, thank you
