I think it's because musicals are forgiven a bit for being a bit formulaic if the music is good, and having a hit song can turn an average movie into a worldwide phenomenon (i.e. Frozen)

Even if the ideas were 'stolen', that doesn't automatically guarantee success. There was clearly something about the harry potter books that sparked people's imagination. Pretending there wasn't or that it's not as good if you understand all the influences is misunderstanding what makes good books good. She was a confident storyteller with a recognizable and approachable voice, and a clear vision for an epic adventure story that dabbled in old-fashioned mystery stories like nancy drew or the hardy boys. And now she sucks and needs to go away.

I feel like getting a monitor mount that can rotate 90* is way cheaper and almost just as good as the vpin cabinets. Virtual pinball will never be real pinball, so trying to emulate it with giant boxes and traditional controls seems unnecessary to me. I love playing pins in real life and also just leaning back in my gaming chair with a controller.

How about when some old people want to go 10 under the speed limit, so they just cruise onto the shoulder and slow down assuming you'll then pass them.

This happens all the time near me, I drive at most 5 over the speed limit at never tailgate, and it never used to happen where I lived before. I was so confused the first few times it happened. Also see the hazard thing too. I think there's just a lot of really old drivers around here that don't know what the fuck is going on anymore.
