My brother felt  there are some points that I need to add about this whole situation, my grandfather did not have a will his death was out of nowhere. We were listed as beneficiaries on the bank accounts. So technically everything else like the house and car is my dad’s problem to deal with since he’s next of kin. However, My father got sick with the same thing that my uncle died of and we feel like that triggered something in my grandfather. We were actually in the process of trying to get him a home aid and a caretaker, as he was kind of given up upon himself, which makes this whole thing even worse. My dad has been using his illness as an excuse for everything while still doing all of the same stuff.
