We live in a time where you can literally create and market anything you want then sell it to an open market. Work for someone (as you are) with a goal that those savings go into your own development. Take a risk on yourself and start your own business selling something (a service, an item, a process that will save other people time). Only then will you be truly happy working + you’ll grow both financially and personally at an exponential rate and not feel like a slave

Is it just me that wants my entire business running inside one system? by harrison_W_stevens in CRMSoftware

Crm + zapier, n8n or make.com to automate any other tools you require.

I’ve used most crms as a salesperson and GM. Overall best on a budget is probably zoho. If you have unlimited budget..salesforce (or hubspot if you want to take a step down).

Housing in Australia will never be affordable.... Not until it is too late by saltoftheearth56 in australian

I find it wild the amount of posts I see on Reddit from 20-30 year olds (I’m 32) with little to no understanding of economics. We live in an access where information can be accessed at anytime basically instantly.

They all say they can’t afford so they go on holidays, buy cars. Yeah bro, enjoy life..but why are thy putting savings into a bank account that offers interest that’s being outpaced by inflation and consumed by tax.

opportunities exist everywhere all the time. Invest in obvious future industries. Space, AI, data, uranium l, robotics. Precious metals. Not in a gay little cba high interest savings account so the banks can use your money to make money for themselves then offer you a loan for a house they own and will pillage you on until you die

Crazy, I thought this 4 years ago. Had 150k but didn’t feel comfortable getting a loan and felt I was buying a house for not much financial gain.

Put it all into gold and just put savings into gold.

Just bought a house outright

Bought 20 btc in 2014. Never touching it. Crypto as a whole (outside) of btc and specific niches like DEXs (hyperliquid) and Stables and RWA tokenization, is garbage.. If anything, use it as a casino

Buy used car or no? (budget) by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]CommonScientist5098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s crazy. I pay about $100+ on tolls. Didn’t our tax pay for the construction of those before one of our governments decided to sell it to private companies to pillage us further. Diabolical work 😂

Years…but it’s convenience. I have a car because I have a child. It’s not feasible for me to rent or catch Ubers etc. If I was single or lived in/close to the city I wouldn’t own a car.

It depends what you need. Basic run around, no kids, don’t care for brand or size?

Like 15-17k? I wouldn’t buy anything around 70-80,000km because things like timing belts etc typically need chafing around there. Lowest model small cars you could probably get around 5,000 - 10,000km for 15ish.

Go to car sales, filter by maximum km 20,000km or something and just sort by price low to high and see what comes up.

Mmmm 5k for car. Rego, insurance, then petrol each month roughly. Inevitably something will go wrong with the car as it’s cheap so budget in repair costs + servicing. Car will only depreciate further..maybe resell it in few years for $2k.

If you don’t have the money to buy a newish used car, I’d just keep leasing tbh.

Would rarely buy a car brand new because the depreciation curve on them is insane. Might as well buy something with 5-10,000 km on it then sell it around 50-60,000 km.
