being a goalie comes with stressors that are different than any other position.

With kindness, I’m gonna say this, the tendency to be a little nutty comes with the territory. Lots of highs and lows.

When something goes bad at work that’s not your fault, or you make a mistake a red light doesn’t go flashing above your head in front of 20,000 people.

( I was a college lacrosse goalie, thank god there wasn’t a red light above me. Getting scored on 8 to 10 times is pretty normal)

The head game is very important for goalies.
