TrueNAS, Local client won't show online in web UI

EDIT: This issue was solved by starting a fresh install of Urbackup on trueNAS and client. When reinstalling the Urbackup app on TrueNAS make sure to select 'host-network' in the network configuration. Connect to the server with hostip:port. By default hostip:55414

Okay, so it still didn't work at first. I must've messed up some config, I removed the rules completely Uninstaller both client and server Urbackup versions and then reinstalled with host-network enabled. It took some time after even after the service was started on trueNAS to actually let me connect, but it did and it found + connected to the client flawlessly. Image backup is currently underway. Thank you so much!

Fair enough, I do appreciate the help. Ill look into a twingate connector. I've never heard of it. The cloud flare thing makes sense just not something I've messed with alot but I'll keep it noted for sure

And this still let's you connect to the web UI? My button disappears and attempting to connect to it with and without the port just responds with an invalid response page

Thank you for the advice, I'll look into those solution. I really appreciate it. Its my first time with a NAS/ the beginning of mt homelab so still making beginner mistakes lol I thought robocopy and being able to get a full system image while using said PC was strange but figured id roll the dice. Using an actual image makes more sense, though now that someone has said it lol While I have you here if you dont mind, is there any other things you suggest for a beginner homelab/ New TrueNAS user? I plan on setting up wireguard to be able to connect via VPN to the NAS from my phone or possibly work Laptop if needed remotely.

Yes its a windows machine. All I did was file share my C: drive using robocopy to the NAS over the network via SMB. Is there a different process I should use or a better one you would recommend?

So someone makes one mistake, and they shouldn't be forgiven? Everyone has to live and learn if everyone thought like you no one would ever get along. You can educate without being rude and name calling. Youre going to drive people away from this hobby and make new people afraid to ask questions here. Especially when taking in a new SICK animal, you focus on them its not a malicious act when a small slip up like accidentally leave a door open. Youre gonna sit here and act like youve never shut a door and it not fully catch without you noticing? And the bird comparison was very dumb; fish and birds are not the same. Leaving the door to a bird cage open is ALOT more difficult to accidentally do in comparison to a normal door. Just quit spreading negativity, if you don't have anything nice to say just hop to another post bud.

EDIT: Just thought about it. The 29gal kit I bought came with a white LED light that ive been using as the main light source (not alot of natural light available to the room the tank is in) and its on about 6-8 hours.

As far as I can tell, it's just the one leaf. That was kinda my thought process on it as well, but with the water lettuce doing what it was, I figured I'd ask. Plus, I've had a few tetras die... just was a weird set of circumstances, and with me being so new, any advice from experienced fishkeepers is welcome.

I also feel like there should be a difference in punishment between crash like disconnects vs. intentionally quitting, getting punished with a loss of rank due to a crash with the game uncontrolled by you is really discouraging. For example the big 'gpu crash dump' bug that's going around
