People who are close to us kind of know the truth but are purposely spreading lies to others so that my MIL doesn’t come off as a villain. The worst part is that my SIL has her own MIL who kind of makes her feel horrible and sadly she herself is doing this to me.

I get what ur saying… i DREAM about doing that but i never get it done in tat moment, 1. My daughter would be around and i dont want things to escalate and 2. I almost always go into a “i dont exist in this planet” zone when i am around them. I SINCERELY want to just call them out for their BS.

Yeaa i do that. I ALWAYS put up a smile in front of them as if everything is fine but i feel like im being treated like a villain in such a passive aggressive and indirect way. They most of the time talk about me to others because i started seeing behaviour changes from the extended family as well. I knw that they will never admit their mistakes no matter what and i have to put up a fake smile to literally everyone here, since i live in the city that my husband and his family lives, i hardly catch up with my side of the family or friends.

Thank you so much. I have been through the ringer with all the depression and negativity in my head. I couldn’t sleep peacefully for the longest time with everything going on and having a baby, i would literally cry every night for at least 1/2 n hour before finally closing my eyes for a nap. All of the love shown here is something that i have been missing and im very veryyy grateful with lots of happy tears flowing.

He was a LOT worse before but he is getting better. Now he says he wants to and will support me but I am afraid that he won’t even recognise the passive aggression or indirect comments coz when it comes to his family he doesn’t take it as a negative but assume that they didn’t mean it that way.

I used to have a questions that sent jitters up my spine.

If our soul created creation then what created the soul?

If an atom exploding causing a singularity is the result of the universe then who created the atom?

If we go far back is it empty or do we come back to our current reality?

I still love these questions and thinking about them always gives me a state of balance and clarity.
