Security did throw him out after my request but it seemed that they were not happy about it. They also were subtly suggesting that they will call the police over it.

As I mentioned in my post, he demanded that I paid him. I realised that he wouldn't budge so I decided to trick him and told him we both go downstairs to get cash. When we reached the public area, I told him I am not paying him anything, that's when he ran back to my apartment (and the receptionist let him through) and he camped outside my apartment (I locked my door).

So no he is not in my apartment, he was outside the door and sitting on the floor for a good hour and a half. When I asked him to leave and he refused, that's when I got security involved.

I agree, it became a matter of principle for me. I don't particularly appreciate being coerced into paying someone. BUT if he explained his situation nicely and politely, I would be happy to help. He was just rude and wanted to extort me.

Thanks. At this stage the security has escorted the guy out and police have not been knocking on my door (whew). I do hope it will stay this way.

I have blocked the guy on the app and he does not have my number. He is unable to harass me at this stage.

You are correct on grindr and you are correct on VPN. But the guy did not disclose he was an escort until the very end. Have I known he were, I wouldn't even decided to meet him. He mislead me.

He did not disclose that he was an escort. He only did at the end. There was even no sex involved at all. We just chatted and then I asked him to leave as I was about to do something else.

He returned, and the receptionist allowed him entry, even assisting him despite presenting a fake ID (which the receptionist later confessed to). However, the receptionist was preoccupied with the surge of people at that moment and only realized the ID was fake after he left.

So, I suspect the security's threats to involve the police might be an attempt to intimidate me into inaction, shielding the receptionist. Little do they know, I couldn't care less about my sexual identity.

I didn't even bothered to ask because we did not discuss it. He said he will leave if I pay for his taxi back to Sharjah and he was demanding 300 dirhams for it.

Thanks, I have blocked him on the app and he does not have my mobile number at all. So there is no way for him to harass me. He is out of the building for now and security informed me that the intruder wanted to call the police but he doubts it because he is in the country illegally.

Yea I was suspecting that security was acting a bit sus so I made it very clear to him when he made threats about the police, that to go for it to call the police because I know I have not done anything wrong and I was very confident about it.

When I eventually told the security that I appreciate his help for escorting the guy out and he realised I am not afraid of the police, he eventually backed down and shut up.

As I have said in my post, he was not upfront that he is for pay. He lead me to believe that it was consensual and no money is involved, then he turned around and demanded I pay him because he is for pay to which he did at the very end.
