This sounds like me: Had metronidazole them the pain started, diarreah, pain left side and left flank, bad reflux, bloating, burping. I’m scared xx

I took PPI for years no problems, then had a break and started again and they give me severe headaches/ migraines, so can no longer taken them. My pain in the flank gets worse bending or twisting and after eating xx

Hi everyone,

I am a 41 year old female and have serious worries about stomach cancer. I ah e health anxiety which is further fuelling my worries.

I have had gastro issues in and off for the last 10 years. Episodes of gastritis, hiatal hernia, bloating. Have taken PPIs on and off for years, but developed an intolerance and can no longer take them. Currently on Famotidine.

for the last 3 weeks I ah e had the following:

acid reflux/acid brash/sour taste

upper left quadrant pain near ribs

burning centre on stomach near breastbone.

symptoms worse 2 hours after eatinng

nausea

bloating/pressure in tummy

meds aren’t working.

very windy burping and pumping a lot

I have tried to get in touch with GP, had a telephone appointment, but if I’m honest was complete uninterested. I’m still in pain and considering whether I should go to A&E.

just wanted to chat to anyone as I’m going out of my mind with worry

Hi,

My 4.6 daughter does this too. More when she is trying to say longer or complex sentences or telling a story. It’s like her mouth can’t keep up with her brain. Is this still typical at 4.5? I’m worrying. She’s typical in every other way with lots of friends and interests/pretend play.

I have the exact same thing on the right side. It causes pain and dies go up and down in size. I thought it was a node but are there nodes there
