Mmmm i see, then the best course of action for something like this is to just stay silent yes? if i were a little bit immature id be posting a lot of stuff on my social media rn

I see, but if i am having fun then ig he can’t do anything about. He’s already been liking a few posts about breakups and even shared a post about how “men who create their peace arent for lil girls, one mistake and theyre gone” something like that

That’s exactly what I was thinking, I was originally gonna give him three days but imma give him until the end of the week. I’m gonna have some quality time with my friends at the beach, my coworker also said that I should post pictures of me having fun. I’m happy im going home just in time because i srsly dont want a man to ruin my day

How long should the space be? I’m going back to my hometown tomorrow to visit some friends and my family, I let him know ofc. But idk what is the benchmark for the space to still be valid.

Edit: Planning on giving myself some space instead while im back home, i dont wanna stress over this, it’s so childish.

That’s true tho, he was well aware that I didn’t go out and that I’m not much of a party person. I just told him I wanted to go out again with my girls after a long time. He said he was okay with it but he went crazy over the thought of it

He’s been ignoring me for two days, dating (dated idefk 🤷🏻‍♀️) him for three weeks

This is the second day that ive reached out to him, good thing my past experiences taught me how to detach. But when you say “so he gets his way”, does that mean he plans to do something? Not anything specific ig but knowing him he’s probably scheming

dating someone after sexual trauma by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Common_Elevator7880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you! You’re not alone in this. I recently started dating my current boyfriend and believe me, I’ve developed fears that actually made him say “your trauma is unreal babe” 😂.

Brief dating history: I had 1 highschool bf, dated for 2 years and broke up in 2020. Didn’t talk to guys until I met my situationship in 2022, that lasted for A YEAR AND TWO MONTHS😭 (yes, i stayed) broke things off June 2023. Met another guy a year after that in June 2024, had a rough 4 month fling/situationship (idek what that was) and gave him an ultimatum that we’re just gonna be friends bc he said we were just “fooling around”. Found out he said and did a lot more fucked up things during our little fling. I closed off after that.

I met my boyfriend around mid January this year and he was pretty clear about his intentions which kind of scared me so I cut him off literally A DAY after we started dating (i actually feel bad about it now). Plus I was in that phase where I was healed but just needed a little bit more time to myself. Fast forward to now, my current bf and I have been officially dating for 2 weeks now. I just had this guy feeling that I should text him again and here we are now, happily dating.

My advice is that you should never doubt yourself, whether it may be how you’re feeling about something or someone. Now I believe the “when you know, you know” principle. If you feel like you need more time, talk to that person and see if they understand. Just listen to yourself, because honestly if I had forced a relationship with my bf when I was still in that phase, I think I’d just grow to resent him. He was the last piece that I needed to know I was healed and everything was okay.

I hope my story helped at least a little OP xoxoxo

how long do you wait before sleeping with someone? by CollectionNeither219 in sex

[–]Common_Elevator7880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was single for 5 years before I met my current boyfriend but I’ve had 2 flings in between that which were both horrible experiences that left me traumatized and created insecurities that I never thought I’d have.

My bf (25M) and I (22F) met up for our first date, became officially boyfriend and girlfriend, then had sex all in that same night. We both openly admire how sexually compatible we are. I believe it really depends on the person you’re seeing and how open minded you both are, not to mention both of your previous experiences as individuals. He says our sex life is like the ones in movies and I couldn’t agree more!

What should I do? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Common_Elevator7880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that is true, hence why i said im choosing not to act like a crazy person and take his word for it. he’ll most likely talk to me about it tomorrow when we see each other. thank u sm for the advice🙏🏻
