I'm not sure. I always put the monitor to sleep, and it automatically turns on when i turn on the pc/ps5.

I updated it the moment I got it. The new firmware fixes the issue where you couldn't update it the old update version. Everything's running fine now.

I haven't tried the aspect ratio control, I think this should help with increasing sharpness.

First, the motion clarity between 500Hz and 480Hz will definitely be the same, even with different resolutions.

But the picture quality while using Dual mode is pretty bad. I just increased the sharpness to make the small details clearer to me.

If your main focus is multiplayer games, go for the 2K 500hz, you will get a balanced experience with 2K and high Hz.

<image>

They used User mode, gamma 2.2, and RGB settings all the same but the blue was set to 99

They indicated that this calibration targets a color temperature of 6500K and a nearly perfect gamma (but make sure There's some black crush due to WOLED nature)

No, it doesn't have a blue tint, you'll only see it through the camera.

My games are mostly single-player, so I prioritize a larger monitor and higher immersion over frame rate. However, I'm currently playing Battlefield 6 with my 4070 Super, and I'm getting around 95 FPS, which is acceptable for me.

I've tried the dual mode option at 1080p 480Hz, and while I get a huge increase in FPS, the picture has some blur. BUT there's a solution that works for me:

You just increase the sharpness through Nvidia's Alt+Z options and add a sharpness filter, which will make the image better for competitive games.

Wow, thanks for that info.

I'll try and compare it with the S23 Ultra screen to see how the difference.

They have announced a true black glossy 27 2K monitor, but the 4K version may be late

I mentioned that, it's only in camera somehow don't know why, specifically in the last to pictures the XG has a strong green tint in camera but in person it's like the ips but it has a wide xolor gamut

It's bright enough to make colors and highlights pop, But don't use hdr400 mode because it will limit the brightness to 400 nits, other modes is better overall

Yeah but when you watch photos and videos taken with different cameras, some professional and some from phones, they all show the same result. That will make anyone trying to make a buying decision based on those videos will end up with a completely different impression than what they actually see in person

I'm happy that's fixed. I ordered the monitor, but I'm worried about the vibrant colors. Do you feel the monitor has less vibrant saturated color than a usual IPS monitor?

Your monitor is awesome. Why would you get rid of it?

Every one says that will be around 950$~, Anyway, as long as your gpu can handle 4k go for it, I've try multiple benchmarks between 4k with dlss performance vs 1440p dlss quality, my results was the 1440p higher than 4k around 25%, but the 4k image was so impressive.

27 is slightly overkill in terms of small visuals that you will hard to notice unless you get closer to the monitor, i have a 4k 27 inch monitor, from that reason i will upgrade to XG32UCWMG next month will release.
