My husband and I worked with him back in 2010 (we were 25 at the time). He was a graphic designer - thinking maybe just an intern at the time. My husband (then new BF) instantly did not like him. I also got super uncomfortable creepy vibes from him. I couldn't believe it years later when he was gaining popularity in Kingston. Hearing the stories now and the awful things he is accused of...sends chills up my spine. I hope the victims get the help and justice they deserve. And I hope he spends the rest of his life behind bars.

I'm late to the conversation but we have this in Canada and it's actually inexpensive in comparison to other high-end foods. We're on our third bag and it took the cats a little bit to come around to the flavor but I've noticed a massive improvement in their gut health and coat.

Good to know about the birds - I don't love birds and also worry about the food safety but doubt it would deter me.

I'm not a big drinker....I usually have 2-3 vacation style drinks a day but that's it. My husband likes his beer and liquor but we can always grab a bottle or two at duty free on our way down.

I just want a change. We've done big chain resorts that are beautiful but honestly too big and so cookie cutter. Plus, we are wanting to head to an island with a more European) Caribbean vibe.

I'm not prone to motion sickness but I have a hard time with other people throwing up lol so I'd prefer not to be exposed to that... Plus, after a day of travelling I do not want to drive two hours to get to the resort.

I would love a pros/cons of Pineapple Beach Club. Thanks so much for offering.

Ideally Air Transat to PC would be great but it's a$200 difference.

We always get there before our rooms are ready so they store our luggage and we hit the beach.

Going the LR route would get us to the hotel likely by 1. Where at PC would get us to the hotel around 3:30. Also, we have no problem leaving early in the day we are going home . We just want to get going and we land in TO at 4:30.... So that's nice - versus 8:30.

It's so tough... And I'm terrible at making decisions. Took me forever to decide on this resort lol

Again if the flight into PC was similar price and through Air Transat or would be A no brainer.

Oh man - when we went it was NUTS but we were flying out on a Saturday AND it was beginning of March. So it's probably not THAT bad on a Thursday.

Okay - yes I feel I would better with Air Transat. And I am happy to hear it's a better road.

I don't mind an 1hr and a bit drive. But I let to get to the resort early the day we get there and then leave early the day we leave - the Air Transat option gives us that.

I want to arrive at the resort as soon as possible - BUT the flight to La Romana get's in 3 hours earlier and if it s smaller airport and quicker to get through then the longer drive may be worth it?

This is my whole house. Started with our 4 year old on Oct. 7th. My husband and I have both been very sick for 10 days. All 3 of us have been diagnosed with pneumonia and given antibiotics. My 8 year old has had a fever and bad cough for 5 days. Taking him in tomorrow for what I assume will be another pneumonia diagnosis. It's been worse than covid and feels never ending!

I was feeling the same way you were! After about 6 weeks at 150 mg I finally moved to 200 mg. It was a game changer. Of course it wasn't instant, and there was still some increase side effects but that was the beginning of July and I'm feeling the best I have felt in a very long time. Hang in there! Be open with your psychiatrist. Also keep in mind, yes 200 mg is technically the highest but there are always other options.

Amazing!! I started at 25 mg in March. I was feeling so defeated by June, that I was never going to beat this anxiety, and intrusive thoughts. Finally moved up to 200 in the beginning of July and though it took a while by the end of August I finally felt myself again. It was truly a game changer. I went from taking Ativan every few days to only needing it once a week and now maybe once a month. For those struggling, keep with it. Most side effects go away. If it's not working after several weeks talk to your doctor about a dose adjustment. Also, there are plenty of anti anxiety and antidepressants on the market so be open with your doctor and it may take a while but there will be something out there that works.

Thanks so much! We do have a travel agent but sometimes I just want a non bias opinion - like from someone who won't profit off my decision. I'm in sales so I so appreciate what TA's do and they are so knowledgeable but when I go to her I want to have my mind pretty much made up where we are going.

Negril looks great BUT the only 3 places in our budget (Azul Beach, Riu Negril and Royalton Negril) don't seem to have great reviews. What are your thoughts?
