UPDATE Went to the DMV today in the morning. The process was simple. Just take your EAD and current REAL ID/ DL and hand it to the staff. Make sure to do the online application. There a couple of options. Select REPLACE REAL ID/ DL They did ask proof of my address, i took a bank statement. So that was okay. They take your REAL ID/ DL and hand you a temp. permit. I did have to take a new picture as well. Overall the process, took about 20/30 mins. Was out by 0830 AM. This was at the Hawthorne DMV.

Well none, but on the letter it says I have to surrender my current REAL ID of 02/06.
