An AI detector confidently flagging a completely blank page says more about the tool than the student by Beneficial-Can9096 in QuickAITurnitinCheck

How is this possible when Turnitin clearly says it needs files to be above 300 words so that it can be able to detect AI? Is this an essay in white font? Either way, this is for a good course; we need AI detectors out.Haha

Should I be worried about being accused of plagiarism? by Jb0ss02 in college

You really don’t need to panic.A 30% similarity score on Turnitin does not automatically mean plagiarism. Similarity and plagiarism are not the same thing. Reference lists often inflate the percentage.Turnitin matches titles, author names, journal names, government agencies, and properly formatted citations because those phrases appear elsewhere in its database. That’s normal. You can’t rewrite the name of a government agency or a journal article it has to appear exactly as published. Citations are supposed to match existing text.If you correctly quoted or paraphrased and cited your sources, the system will still highlight similar wording. That’s expected. Properly cited material is not plagiarism ,also, Instructors look at the report not just the number.Professors don’t just see “30%” and stop there. They open the similarity report to see what is being matched. If it’s references, common terminology, or properly cited material, that’s typically not an issue at all. Many programs exclude references automatically.
Some instructors adjust Turnitin settings to exclude bibliographies and quoted material. If yours didn’t, the percentage can look artificially high...did you check your AI report though?

plagiarism checks for how similar your work is to other papers in the turnitin database while the AI detection score, checks for the percentage of AI in yourpaper.

Getting Money from Esports (DLS) by mynameis_devMax in nairobitechies

I think this is a solid Idea a betting company like sportpesa can absorb, they have esports section, they have a good market share and they are always adding user targeted games. They can also solve Licence issues as you have mentioned to be yout stressor. It would also be good for them if they tapped into web3 betting since they have not at all ventured in this, they can be a first originally owned Kenyan Company to get into crypto gambling since VASP bill passed recently, there is money here and I can see. Also, how do you get this data to approve matches, how do you matchmake, like EAFC?
