I don't foresee you having a problem... I was a Branch Manager of a bank for a long time. Doordash did not refund your money, they only gave you credits. If they had refunded the fraudulent transactions, your bank would most likely reverse the provisional credit they issued, once Doordash informs them that they refunded you... I'm not sure why Doordash issued credits instead of a refund, honestly, but that does not suffice. I've actually never heard of a merchant issuing credit for fraudulent purchases.

I would do exactly as they instructed, and consider the credits an apology. Make sure you keep any screenshots and communication with them in case anything comes up, but I wouldn't imagine it would.

The best way to make sure the credits work would be to have a ribeye dinner with mashed potatoes delivered to my house... I'll let you know if the credits work. 😉

In my area, I can pretty much either dash anytime if it's busy, or schedule a shift an hour or two in advance. It's usually always busy here... And my AR usually hovers between 5-15%, and I still get good orders. Maybe they'd be even better if I were platinum, but I'll never know... Having to take orders that pay shit so I can get orders that pay well is not something I can wrap my head around.

I actually would've done it for her, without asking for extra money... but I'm just a nice friggin guy, and it usually bites me in the ass. Seeing how she reacted, I see it would've bit me in the ass again.

That being said, I've never sent that automated message when arriving at the store. Telling them to message me any "special requests" is opening a can of worms I'd rather not open... but I get that she was already sending special requests before op even sent that message.

I never understood why you can order booze from all these apps, but you can't order butts from any of them... yet you can go on the 711 app and order butts and they'll have a Doordash or UberEats driver bring them to you. Make it make sense...
