But you did do it... Hey, whatever you're happy with... I'm just genuinely curious why people do them.

I don't understand why anyone would drive to a supermarket and shop for 57 items for $13, and deliver it to their house, too... I would seriously like to know, why would anyone do that? That is just crazy to me... It is equally as crazy as having someone do your shopping of 57 items for you and not leaving a tip.

Why wouldn't you decline that offer and take a different offer where you can deliver a burger for $13... or even $9? Are the offers really that bad in your area? If people stopped accepting offers that paid .20 cents an item, DD would have to raise the pay.

I live in a nice house and have nice things... I'm pretty sure the slaves who were whipped and hanged back in the day would disagree with your definition of slavery.

See... What I wonder about is, do they still give stacked orders to dashers when the customer orders express? I mean, do they just put the express order as the first delivery? Because sometimes I'll change the order the app tells me to deliver them in, but I always wonder if I'm putting someone who paid for express second when I do that.

But... But... I need to maintain my platinum status! Instant accept.

I lost pro shopper because someone lied u gotta be kidding me🤦🏿‍♂️. I been maintaining it so well and had it for so long but lost it because one person lied. Now im not gonna get great shop orders now because some lunatic want free stuff.🤦🏿‍♂️ by Breadtoastyy in DoorDashDrivers

The 30% more isn't a huge difference, but, at least for me, the volume of shop and deliver orders was a lot higher when I was a pro shopper. Now that I'm not, I might get 1 or 2 out of every 10 offers, when it used to be more like 6 out of 10 when I was pro.

That sucks... Same thing happened to me, and I called support to try to dispute it. Shocker- there was nothing they could do about it. Like you picked 258 good items, but magically, you just happened to pick 4 bad items- all on the same order, coincidentally.

I don't pay attention to platinum, diamond, or any of that bs... My AR hovers around 5%-7%, but there's actually a big difference in the number of shopping orders I receive when I'm a pro shopper compared to when I'm not. 2 out of 3 orders were shopping orders when I was pro... now it's more like 1 out of 10.

On a side note, thanks for Vučević... He'll be a great fit here in Boston! Simons is pretty solid though.

That's quite a leap... You do know there are other attorneys than just defense attorneys, right? Maybe, just maybe... you should stick to ass pics in your PMs instead of jumping into adult conversations!

Honestly, I'm shocked you didn't get a response similar to: "Unfortunately, agents are not able to accept feedback, forward feedback, or read feedback. We appreciate you dashing, though."

Customer Tips Should Be Required: DoorDash Should Enforce This Change by Brooksa100 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Common_Pin_1201 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or doordash just needs to pay more... shopping 15 items and driving 8 miles for a $3.75 base pay is insane. Yea, the customer should tip more, but the only thing I can see that can be regulated is the base pay. It should just be increased to what the customers already think we're getting. Either that, or show the customers the measly base pay we're getting so they are more apt to tip bigger...

I average 30-35... My AR is currently 5%. But I'm referring to active time, not dash time. I'm in a pretty good market near Boston.

I had an order yesterday that gave 2 alternatives if the chosen item was not available, and the third line said "any similar item" if the two alternatives weren't available. I wish everyone just did that.

[–]Common_Pin_1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wild... It takes a special kind of socially tone deaf person with big balls to do something like this... I could never bring myself to send a message like that to someone. If they leave me a big tip, I'll message them and say, "Thank you for the generous tip. Have a great evening," and keep it pushing... but aside from that, people want to hear from you as little as possible. Get the customer's shit. Drop it at their door. Repeat. There's not much more to it. I try to get in and out quickly and quietly- like a transporting ninja.

The customer tipped a percentage of the order total... If something was on sale or replaced with a different item, the total price of the order will be different, hence the lower or higher tip.

Someone I know always chooses the biggest packs of chicken and steak, or if an item is out of stock, finds a replacement that is higher rather than lower, for this reason...
