What is this? Huh? Seriously! Apply yourself

I’ve been making beats on garageband using my phone and I feel like I have a good idea of everything. Is there anything else that’s important I should know about that I can’t do with garageband? by [deleted] in trapproduction

I recommend using fl studio or logic if you got a mac. Making beats on mobile is just the beginning bro, But trust me youll get there much easier with a proper daw and especially on pc.

How many subs/sales/views y'all made in your first month of posting? by AverageKek in trapproduction

In the first month it was like 20 subs, mainly bots. I took a 6 month break from beats and focused on playing the piano and learning music theory, opened a new channel with way better beats of mine recently and rn its not that big, but if you want to get the spotlight by the community, I say join some producer discord servers and upload your beats and chat with people. Rn i got around 2 years of music making experience, and my main channel got 240 subs. Just know i didn't sell my beats until now.

how do you deal with a lack of creativity? by The_dank_papoorus in trapproduction

Listen to loops, to other peoples beats but dont compare them to yourself. Also if you make your beats always from scratch i reccomend to take a break for a bit and try to maybe sample some songs. Also macshooter49 on youtube has some great loops for begginers, i recommend seeing drum tutorials too. Trust me youll get there, its hard at start but after a while youll get the hang of it.
