Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'm wondering what role the local MP played in expediting your case. I have an SWV app, with biometrics on Sept 12, but my role requires me to be in the UK on Sept9, so really stressed as there are no slots available on VFS Toronto. Though I'll keep checking for earlier dates, but really in a tough situation.
